Yoga Retreats at Villa Vani

A personalised practice, at your pace, in Mysore's most peaceful sanctuary

Villa Vani offers a different kind of yoga retreat—one that’s entirely shaped around you. Instead of group sessions, guests are invited to explore a private, one-on-one yoga journey with trusted local teachers. We work closely with a small circle of Mysuru’s most experienced and intuitive practitioners and carefully match each student with the teacher best suited to their level, practice style, and intentions. Alternatively, if you want to attend daily Mysore-style ashtanga classes in a group format, we can match you with a local shala that accepts students for a few days, a week, or more.

Daily Flow (Flexible and Personalised)

Delicious Meals
🍽️ Start the day with a delicious South Indian breakfast — fresh fruit, tea or coffee, homemade dosa, idli, aloo paratha, or poori. Lunch or dinner also available on request.


Yoga Practice (60-75 mins) 🧘‍♂️ 

Daily private classes tailored just for you, held in Gokulam, Mysore — a calm and leafy neighbourhood that is the global epicentre of Mysore-style ashtanga yoga.


Throughout the Day
💤 Rest, read, journal, or practice on your own under the rain tree, on the rooftop, or in one of our peaceful garden areas.

An oasis tucked away in the heart of Mysore, Villa Vani is a soulful space for rest, reflection, and renewal. With its lush gardens, curated interiors, and a sense of quiet beauty, it offers the perfect setting to go inward and reconnect — with nature, with stillness, with yourself.

We suggest a stay of at least one week to truly slow down, settle into the rhythm of Mysore, and experience the quiet transformation that comes when daily practice and deep rest move in harmony. Longer stays are always welcome.
